Hello my dear friends!
As we head into the last stretch of the Race, I would like to start sending out a recap of each country. I will post two counties at a time, giving an overview of what ministry looked like and some pictures!
So without further notice… here is Romania and Albania!!!
In Romania we stayed with a pastor who hosted us in his house built for missionaries. This month was an “all squad month”, which meant that there was 25 of us living together at once. What a crazy time! We helped out with whatever our host needed, such as distributing food to Roma communities, inviting young people to fun events, and running medical and eye-glass clinics.
We were in Albania for two months. The first month was ATL(Ask The Lord), so we did not have a host. Through prayer my team ended up in a small beach town called Orikum. There we made intentional relationships with the locals, and spent time traveling to beautiful places with them.
The second month of Albania was hosted, and we were housed by a family from the church. The church did not start as one, but was originally a place for free english courses. As students came to know Christ, a church was formed. We spent time helping out with English classes, giving our testimonies, encouraging believers, and attending/running fun youth events!
